Good luck to the Museums + Heritage Awards 2026 shortlisted organisations!

Altair Media is proud to sponsor the Museums + Heritage Awards 2026. As the shortlist is announced, we want to congratulate the organisations, teams and individuals being recognised across the museums, galleries and heritage sector.
Good Luck to the Museums + Heritage Awards 2026 Shortlist
The Museums + Heritage Awards 2026 shortlist is out, and being recognised in this sector is no small thing.
Being shortlisted in this sector means something. It reflects hard work, good judgement and a lot of care, usually under real pressure. Museums, galleries and heritage organisations are expected to deliver on every front. They need to stay relevant, bring in audiences, create strong visitor experiences and build income, all while protecting what makes them important in the first place. None of that is straightforward. To be recognised in that environment is a real achievement.
That is one of the reasons we are so pleased to be sponsoring the Museums + Heritage Awards 2026.
At Altair Media, museums, galleries, heritage and culture are a sector we care deeply about. We have worked with arts and heritage organisations for many years, and we understand how much they are being asked to balance. Public purpose matters. Commercial reality matters too. The challenge is rarely one or the other. It is how to hold both.
Over the years, Altair Media has supported a wide range of cultural organisations, including Shakespeare’s Globe, Somerset House, Royal Academy of Arts, The Fitzwilliam Museum, Factory International and National Portrait Gallery to name a few. That experience has given us a close view of the pressures the sector is under. Audience growth is harder won. Attention is fragmented. Expectations are higher. Organisations are being asked to do more with less, while still delivering work that feels relevant, distinctive and worth showing up for.
That is why the Museums + Heritage Awards matter.
For Altair Media, sponsoring the Museums + Heritage Awards 2026 is a way of showing support for a sector we genuinely believe in. We have seen first-hand the ambition, resilience and intelligence inside these organisations. We know the work is demanding. We also know how much skill it takes to do it well.
So, to every organisation, team and individual on this year’s Museums + Heritage Awards shortlist, many congratulations
We are delighted to be sponsoring the Museums + Heritage Awards 2026 and very much looking forward to celebrating with everyone on the night.

In a world optimised for speed, museums are redesigning calm. Why experience quality — not spectacle — is the real battleground.
